SOCIAL JUSTICE

Sometimes it gets pretty tough in this world.  Everywhere we look there is something to remind us that things just aren't.... right.  There are inequities and injustices happening everyday.  Often we don't fully understand or pay attention to the issue but deep down inside - if we are honest with ourselves - we sense that something is not proper.  Then, as we explore that feeling... we read more... we study... we pray, it becomes very clear to us the source of those inequities.  Eventually it stirs inside us.  Things are spiraling out of control.  Everyone is pointing fingers, no one is taking the responsibility, little or nothing is getting done and people are still needlessly suffering.

What can WE do?  GET ACTIVE!!! There are issues, there are causes there are opportunities for us to exercise our God Given rights.  WE are the people!  Our government is supposed to work for US!  However, we must inform them of our wishes.  Know our legislators but more importantly, make sure that they know us!  Let your voice be heard.  All it takes is a phone call, an email, a letter.  Attend a public meeting and find out what is going on.  Talk to your neighbors.
